Coco Gauff of Delray Beach, Florida Named She Got Game®
Player of the Week

Coco Gauff celebrates after becoming a Wimbledon semifinalist for the first time with a comeback victory over Jessica Pegula.

Some athletes win matches. Coco Gauff keeps turning pressure into proof.

This week, Gauff earns She Got Game® Player of the Week after delivering one of the biggest moments of her Wimbledon career. The American star battled back from a set down to defeat Jessica Pegula, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, and reach the Wimbledon semifinals for the first time.

It was not a perfect start. Gauff had to settle in, clean up her game and fight through the kind of match that can slip away quickly on grass. But that is what made the win stand out. She did not panic. She adjusted.

By the second set, Gauff was moving better, extending rallies and forcing Pegula to hit one more ball. By the third, the momentum had shifted. Gauff looked sharper, more confident and ready for the moment.

That matters because Wimbledon has always been part of her story. This is where she first broke through as a 15-year-old, stunning Venus Williams and introducing herself to the world. Now, years later, she is back on the grass courts not as a teenage sensation, but as a Grand Slam champion still building her legacy.

Reaching her first Wimbledon semifinal is another major milestone in a career already filled with them. Gauff has become one of the faces of women’s tennis because she brings more than talent. She brings fight, composure and a presence that connects across generations.

This week, she showed all of it.

For the comeback, the milestone and the way she handled the moment, Coco Gauff is this week’s She Got Game® Player of the Week.
