Kayla McBride delivered one of the biggest performances of the WNBA season — and earned recognition as the She Got Game® Player of the Week.
The Minnesota Lynx guard scored a career-high 43 points and knocked down a WNBA-record 10 three-pointers in Minnesota’s 103-90 win over the Dallas Wings. McBride became the first player in league history to make double-digit threes in a single game, adding another milestone to an already accomplished career.
Her historic night helped lift the Lynx to another statement victory and gave women’s basketball one of its most memorable moments of the season.
A Record Night for the Minnesota Lynx
McBride’s shooting display was more than just hot shooting — it was record-breaking from start to finish.
She went 10-for-14 from beyond the arc, setting the new WNBA single-game record for made three-pointers. Her 43 points also marked a career high and set a Minnesota Lynx single-game scoring record for a regulation game.
Minnesota had plenty more to celebrate. The Lynx improved to 27-7, became the first team to clinch a spot in the 2026 WNBA playoffs, and also set a franchise record with 18 made three-pointers in the victory over Dallas.
