The search is on for South Florida's next undiscovered Broadway sensation! The National Society of Arts & Letters Musical Theatre Competition showcases the bravest of performers to an audience of fans and theatre legends alike to discover the stars of tomorrow and give them their big break today.
On March 3rd aspiring South Florida musicians and singers will battle their way to the top for the ultimate prize: $2,000 and the chance to win $10,000 more and an all expense paid trip to the National contest in El Paso, Texas.
Their fate will be decided by a distinguished panel of judges in the arts community including Bob Avian ( A Chorus Line ), Actress Avery Sommers (NY Musical Theatre), Clive Cholerton (Artistic Director of Caldwell Theatre Company), Jeffrey Bruce Actor, Award-Winning Author), and Esther Hardenbergh (Chair of Vocal Performance, University of Miami).
Among those who've won the competition in the past and have gone on to Broadway fame are Megan Hilty (Wicked), and the new TV Show (Smash) and Gelan Lambert (Fela).

This year's South Florida/Boca Raton competition is directed by NY Theatre Director Shari Upbin and musically directed Dr. Catherine Lan piano accompanist.
