•Offer tips on surviving and thriving in this economy. These are financially and psychologically trying times. How can you help Oprah’s readers?

•Do not inundate Oprah's editors with faxes, email and snail mail material and pray that something will pique their interest. The editors receive at least 200 books per month. To get their attention, you need a strategic plan.

•Appreciating life’s blessings – family, friends, health and (yes) pets – is something Oprah tries to teach her readers. Helping her do that will increase your chances of getting into O, because gratitude is one of Oprah’s favorite topics.
